A dancer to the core, Mia started her yoga journey back in 2000 as part of her college curriculum, though funny enough, she was not a big fan of the practice at the time. It took almost a decade of hard life lessons & quests for deeper purpose before she felt drawn back to her mat, but this time it was for the spiritual foundation & and its ability to connect her to the greater whole. She quickly became obsessed with this mind-body magic & realized that she had been living in survival mode for far too long! So in 2017 she retired her bartending apron, enrolled in yoga teacher training, and never looked back. She can now say for certain that a life in yoga pants ain’t bad AT ALL, and hopes to inspire her students to take the leap, go after the the life that falls in alignment with who they truly are, and somehow have a blast while figuring it all out. In her class you will surely get in touch with your inner dancer as you seamlessly flow to the deep beat vibes and work through sequences that build in intensity and difficulty each week. Come prepared for some high energy, fun peak postures, and inspired words. Smiles and sense of humor required.
